Munshi Premchand Real Name

 Dhanpat Rai Shrivastava is the actual name of Munshi Premchand.

Munshi Premchand was born on 31 July 1880, in the Lamai village near Varanasi. He is a famous writer of the 20th century. Born as the fourth child to his father, Ajaib Lal, who was a post office clerk and to his mother Anandi Devi, who was a housewife. His parents named him Dhanpat Rai, which means the master of wealth.
